Part Two – The Creative Corner Comes Alive

They say every good story has a heart, and in Sensational Crafts that heart beats in rhythm with laughter, snippets of conversation, and the gentle hum of imagination at work.

Step through the doorway and you’ll find the Creative Corner, a table that seems to have a mind of its own. It never stays tidy for long. If you listen closely, you can hear the soft chatter of scissors snipping and the occasional burst of a curse as someone measures once and then has to cut again, followed by laughter when someone accidentally glues their project, or their fingers, together.

Yvonne is usually right in the middle of it all, offering gentle advice and her trademark laugh. Gary hovers nearby, pretending he’s working on “important technical stuff” while delivering another cuppa to Yvonne, secretly enjoying the stories that float around the room, stories of grandkids, gardens, and craft projects that have taken over entire spare bedrooms.

Outside, the familiar scent of Londys fish and chips drifts through the door, mixing with the smell of fresh cardstock and the aroma from the new kebab shop.
